We'll Be Home for Christmas...and New Years....and maybe a few more months

Spencer and I are now residing in the 6th place since we have been married. So far we've lived in Covington, Atlanta, Marietta, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, and now Grayson. We are staying in my parents' basement for a while until we can figure out where we're going to be living long term. I feel like we've been in this transition phase for a very long time! We still haven't heard anything from the navy...if you were wondering. We're not sure why it's taking so long. Just trying to stay patient.

We'll be spending Christmas Eve with my family and Christmas day with Spencer's family. I love spending time with family during this time of year. I hope all of you enjoy your Christmas and remember what the season is all about.

Here are some pictures our friend Eric Jensen took for our Christmas card. You can check out his website at www.jadephotography.org. Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm Back

So I guess I never really went anywhere, but that's why I haven't posted. I don't have internet at home, and the places that I did babysit last week didn't have internet access either. But here I am, back into the blogging world.

Not much has been going on in our lives. Spencer is busy working and I am busy working out! :) What a life. We've also been doing a lot of Christmas shopping, which is always fun. We've seen a couple of movies as well. About a week ago we saw August Rush, which was very good, and then this past Saturday we saw The Golden Compass, also good. I also got my hair done...finally. It's been way too long, and after two of my sisters recommended the Paul Mitchell School, I decided to try it out. 3 1/2 hours later and $43 spent, I am content with the way it turned out, and with the price I paid. It might have been a super long Friday afternoon for me, but with a tight budget around this time of year, it was worth the money I saved. It's pretty dark and I have so layers around my face. I'll post a picture sometime.

We're moving in with my parents next Friday, the 21st. Apparently Spencer should be hearing from the Navy next Monday. We're making this move, because if Spencer has to leave in January, I'll be able to stay with my family on not be lonely for the 13 weeks that he's gone.

I'm pretty sure that's all you've been missing out on. Not too much exciting news. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season as much as I am!
