Happy Birthday KC!

You might notice that this wasn't posted until the 10th, but I think you should celebrate your birthday ALL week - right?

You may not believe this, but this is the 5th year that I have wished you a happy birthday! I had to re-count it a couple of times, because I can't believe that we've known each other that long. Well I think after about 5 phone calls, a text message, and a card, I've said a lot to you already concerning your birthday. I guess I can tell you that you are a great friend more than once though.

Not much has transpired between us in the past year - except for one heck of a trip to San Diego and a lot of phone calls and text messaging. Oh -and gchatting. Hopefully we'll get to see each other in June for Lisa's wedding reception. I hope you know that I love you and wish you the best of birthdays!

This is the only picture I have saved of you on my work computer.

A Late Merry Christmas

The past couple of weeks have been pretty crazy for us. Spencer is officially a Master of Science from Ga Tech. I am so relieved that he is done! I will be even more relieved once he gets a job!!! I am so happy for him though - he finished up the semester by writing a 40 page paper in only 2 days. That takes talent - I'm not sure what kind of talent, but I think it's like a procrastinating under pressure talent. I think I have it to, I just haven't had to use it in a couple years.

Christmas was so fun this year. Saturday Spencer and I decided to open our gifts to each other since we'd be gone the rest of the weekend. I got him a U2 Africa shirt, the new NBA basketball, and The Killers cd. He got me 2 new work outfits, an arm band for my ipod when I run, a curling iron, a jewelrey box, some diamond earrings, and a necklace. He's a great gift giver if you can't already tell. Saturday night we went up to my parent's side of town and saw We Are Marshall. It was a great movie - I think I cried about 15 times, both happy and sad tears. Sunday we had the 1 hour Christmas meeting at church - my favorite kind! We opened presents with my family and enjoyed our time with Lisa before she left for Hawaii. By the way, Lisa is now officially engaged to Pete Forsyth. Congrats to them both!! I believe they will be getting married June 16th.

We spent Christmas day with the Christians. It started with a friendly "Get up, make up the bed" from Denise. It was quite funny. We had the annual Christmas breakfast and gifts from Grandmoo. We spent most of the day talking, relaxing, and enjoying our presents. It was wonderful to be able to spend so much time with family.

We just hosted a New Years Party that was quite a "hit". Pictures coming soon.

Please enjoy my family's Christmas decorations which include a GIANT tree and wreath.
