Christmas and New Years '08

Christmas is way over, but I am just now getting a chance to get these up. Spencer and I enjoyed going back home to Georgia for Christmas. As you will see below, we got to visit with a lot of friends. We then split our time between my family and his for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was wonderful to see everyone!

This is what Spencer wore to one of his Navy socials. We then gave the sweater to Alison for part of her gift. Please also note that he is wearing a women's turtleneck with snowflakes on it. I think he wears it well.

I was so happy we were able to visit the Campa's and see their newest addition, little Addison.

They are trying to look like they are in OCS. Very serious.

Friends from high school.

My mom doesn't mess around when it comes to Christmas decorations. She goes all out. I LOVE her 12 ft tree and gigantic wreath she puts up every year.

Pete's action shot.

Please note Dad in the back making his annual Christmas breakfast :)

For New Year's Spencer and I enjoyed the night to ourselves. We watched Georgia Tech get blasted, then watched the ball drop. Very simple, but very nice.

For some reason these pictures look extremely orange on this computer. They didn't look like this on my other computer, so I'm not sure which one is messed up. Anyways, these are only things a photographer freak would worry about :)

Happy Birthday KC!

This is one of the highest honors that I, as a blogger, can give to my best friend on her birthday. This is my 100th post. There you have it. Unfortunately I am at work on a computer that does not have any pictures of you, or us, on it. I was going to reserve the 100th post to do something like a year in review, or maybe 100 fun facts about me, or 100 goals for 2009(I think that one would be impossible), but instead, I feel that KC deserves this one. She is the funniest, most lovable friend that I have. We only spent 1 year and 1 semester together at BYU, but we are still as close as close can be. KC, you're the best. I hope that this 25th birthday brings you everything you wanted.

Now in honor of her 25th birthday, here are 25 fun things about KC:
1. She had the best introduction in the history of introductions.
2. She has some awesome dance moves. I especially like it when she has her hands on her hips and sways. Her hips don't lie.
3. She trusted me to be her eyebrow plucker when we lived in the same state - and even when I came to visit.
4. She, with the help of Annie, Kim, and Tamir made my birthdays at BYU some of my favorites. Birthdays are really important to her, so she always made us feel special on ours(and this is my attempt to pay you back).
5. She's one of the funniest people I know, and even better, she thinks the same about me. Spencer is just now beginning to believe that I am funny - but she always knew.
6. She had, hands down, the BEST wedding I have ever been to.
7. She let me borrow her clothes whenever I wanted., and even gave me some.
8. She loves to laugh - as she should because she has one of the best ones around.
9. She was my favorite workout partner - especially when we'd wake up at 6:00am, walk out to the hallway, see that we were both exhausted, and agree to go back to bed.
10. She exaggerated her love for the Giants just to have a rivalry with me and the Braves(which I also slightly exaggerated).
11. She always made the best mixed cds.
12. She is just as much, if not more, of a Counting Crows fan than Spencer.
13. The only time I've ever seen her really mad was in Hawaii and her frustrations with the *moped.
14. She was my co-worker at Investment Lending. If you ever questioned that a telemarketing job could be fun, just try doing it with KC and Braces Brian, you might be surprised.
15. She laughed with me the whole way through Employee of the Month while Braces Brian shook his head in disappointment.
16. I am always at my tidiest when I am staying with her. She is the cleanest person I know, and I always felt bad if I left any sort of a mess.
17. She ate from a weiner size bowl. Some wieners are big.
18. She made me love the color red.
19. She was the first person to ever throw her blog a birthday party.
20. She makes a To Do list at least once a week - maybe every day? But there were a lot of To Do lists I saw of hers.
21. There are probably about 20 people who consider KC their best friend(me being one.)
22. She is going to be my photography business partner one day.
23. She somehow knows every word to every song ever written. And so does her mom.
24. Her and Ashton(her husband) stopped in Covington on their long road trip of a honeymoon. Covington, of all places. Spencer and I still laugh about it.
25. There are many times that I have known for a fact that we were MEANT to be friends. And I am so glad we are.

Love you KC! Happy Birthday!
