Today was a bittersweet day. More bitter than sweet though. It was my last day working as a nanny here in Virginia. I'm not sure if I ever wrote about this job or not, but it was a perfect nanny job. There were 2 girls, ages 3 and about 16 months. Both extremely sweet and very well behaved. The baby was the easiest thing since I can ever remember babysitting. Seriously. Always happy. Very lovable. And the 3 year old is one of the smartest girls around. In fact, just today, we were listening to a Disney soundtrack, and "Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious" came one - I have NO idea how to spell that by the way. Anyways, I broke it up for her ONE time, and she had the word memorized and was reciting it all day. It was great. She memorizes books. It's unbelievable. Anyways, when I walked in to the house today, this is what I was welcomed with(please note that these pictures are from my measly 2 megapixel camera on my phone):

They had leis hung all over the house and made this poster for me. On the back it has a whole list of their favorite memories with me. It was the sweetest thing. The 3 year old also had a grass skirt and did the hula for me. Anyways, here are some fun pictures of the 2 of them. I unfortunately became very attached to these kids and am quite sad to be leaving them.

Also while I've been here I have been in charge of doing activity days for the 8-11 year old girls in our church ward. I have had much more fun than what I was expecting with doing this and getting to know the girls. Well, tonight, one of them wrote me a letter because she knew it'd be my last time with them. It said(I'm typing EXACTLY what she wrote...mistakes and all):
Front
To: Sister Chirstian! get a surf board and surf so you can teach us!From: Cassidy!(she wrote her address here)
Inside
Dear Sister Christian,
We will all miss you when your in Hawaii because your husband is in the milatry. You should bring a bathing suit so you can swimming. We all can hear from you if you send us a postcard. Also send a picture. We all give you hugs and kisses.

P.S.S. Say thanks to the milatry for fighting or dieing to save are lifes.I thought that last line was the sweetest thing I've ever read. I think it is so great that a girl as young as 9 can appreciate what the military does for us.
Here are some fun pictures of a photo shoot we did showcasing their modest clothes:
