Proud to be an American

First thing's first. The last blog was a little extreme - but I will say that our neighbor has been playing her music so loud with the base up so high that it has prevented Spencer from falling asleep many times. He was just doing a little venting. Anyways..

We went and saw the movie World Trade Center last night. I was worried because it was a last minute decision and didn't know if I was emotionally prepared for it. It turned out to be pretty good and very worth seeing. Don't get me wrong, I cried the entire time, along with the entire theater. I liked it because it was the perspective of the policemen and showed how much courage a lot of those men had. It was just a good reminder to appreciate our country and how wonderful it was when we were so united. This morning's news about the terrorist attempts in England hit me a little harder because of the movie - I'm just glad they caught it before it happend.

I would recommend everyone seeing the movie. It isn't as depressing as it could have been, and it will help you appreciate the people who wanted to save lives. One more I would recommend is Talladega Nights. You can never go wrong with Will Ferrell!
