Independence Day

This July 4, I have a few things on my mind. It's a day to remember those who have fought for our country's freedom. This last week we went to Pearl Harbor and visited the USS Arizona Memorial. There I was reminded of the thousands of soldiers who died in just a few hours of attack. The video footage was unreal. Explosions, panic, chaos. I can't imagine what that would be like. I am grateful for all the brave soldiers who have fought - from back in the day against Britain, all the way up until now. I really don't even know what to say, but thank you.

The other thing I like to remember on July 4 is mine and Spencer's first kiss....6 years ago today! Oh- and speaking of our love life, we celebrated our 4 year anniversary on July 1st. We had a fun day at the PCC. Pictures to come soon.

PCC? Polynesian Cultural Center right? I haven't been to HI since 6th grade, but I have a very big family there.
Happy 4th Anniversary. You guys share our anniversary. It was 9 years for us this year.
Being military makes you think more about 4th of July. Not just fireworks anymore. Take Care.
