It's been 2.5 weeks since I last posted. Since I lasted posted some fun things and some sad things have happened. But most of you already know about them.
FUN: Brooke, Justin, and Mason came to visit! My first time meeting Mason. He's adorable, and has the greatest, biggest smile.
FUN: We went to the Dole Plantation, PCC, Diamond Head, and even attempted surfing. I say attempted because after trying for 1.5 hours, I only got up once. Every time I thought I caught the wave, my board would just nosedive and I would go flipping in every which way. It beat me up...I still have bruises on my knees, hips, and arms. But it was a fun challenge. Can't wait to go again, and maybe bring along someone who knows what they're doing.
FUN: I met some good friends out here who have been super nice, social and fun!
SAD: Spencer left. He'll be gone for about 6 months. Saying goodbye was not easy. Luckily we can email, and he can call about once a week. We've already received a lot of love and support from friends and family, so thank you! If any of you are interested, Spencer started another blog titled Lessons of a Lifetime. Go check it out.

The good thing is...look where you live! Beautiful! And the water...so blue! Miss you!
I love these pictures..so beautiful--of course! Hope all is well without your man--it is good that you have met lots of people and have support there. We need to chat before I had NO cell phone:(
I know you are making wonderful friends that will keep you busy and help the time pass. Scott will be home in another day or so. It has been 6 months since he left. I can stay it wasn't always pleasant but we made it through. Time slips away so fast. He'll be home for 2 weeks and than back to Iraq for another 6 months. Take care.
Noi- I don't know if you'll come back to read this or not, but I have to tell you - it's people like you that help me get through times like this. I am reminded that I don't have it NEAR as bad as others. Only 2 weeks of seeing him in an entire year!? That's rough. I hope you and your kids are doing ok. I'll pray for you guys.
Stacy,
From a former Navy wife to another, it is rough, but keep super busy (seems your doing good), volunteer, find someway to provide service to someone. I am not sure how much tickets are running, but I would not mind a trip out there. Rachel and I should go together, that would be so much fun!!!! I know the first 2 weeks will be hard, heck even the first month, but then you realize you are okay and you can do this. A LOT of prayer helped me and I will be praying for you. Remember we are all so proud of Spencer for doing his country a great service.
