One of my FAVORITE weeks

My week in Utah that is. I hadn't seen Spencer in 3 weeks. Hadn't seen my family in about 7 months. Hadn't seen Utah in about 3 years. I love a happy reunion. Everything about that week was perfect. Really, it was.

Spencer picked me up at the airport and we stayed at a motel in the city of my birth (Midvale). Don't know why we chose that city, but it didn't matter. I just loved having him with me again. Our friends Nathan and Camille drove down from Idaho to see us for the day. We went shopping at the outlet mall in Park City. We met up with our friend Kevin Young and his girl for dinner in Salt Lake. We met up my family. We all took turns smothering Mason with love. We got to spend time with Alison and meet her boy Wayne (we totally approve).  We played a basketball game of Cheesmans vs. 5 other Utah guys that I'm sure were intimidated to see 3 men walk in who were 6'6"+.  We beat them. It was great. We met Natalie's family and had an enjoyable lunch with them. We witnessed Dean and Natalie say "I do". See pics here. We ate gelato. Lots of it. We had a gigantic family gathering at Grandma's with ALL the family who lives in Utah. All the aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. It was so great to see everyone! Our family is definitely the outcasts of the family on that side, so whenever we get to see them is always a treat. We reunited with our buddy Jordan Clark. We met his sister and her family of adorable kids. We ate at Cafe Rio, Red Iguana, Kneaders, and Red Mango (I'd kill for some restaurants like that out here). We enjoyed one day of almost fall weather. We shopped and shopped and shopped. We had the best time.

And now he's gone again until the end of the month. But Utah was great. So great, that it is getting me through these next few weeks. Keeping a smile on my face.

Another thing I did was take pictures. A lot of them. But most of them are of the wedding, Kristi (senior pics), and Mason. See pics of wedding here. And Mason's and Kristi's will be up later. For now, enjoy these. Please note a few things: Kristi is the hot babe in the pink shirt. Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. When did she grow up? Mason's cute teeth. I love the gap in the top two teeth. And please note my parent's cute kiss while i was testing out the self timer. Adorable. Family - I love you, and I loved seeing you! Wish it could have been longer.
