Final Countdown

While paper chains are fun and all, I found myself doing a different type of countdown. Definitely not a typical one. The closer it has gotten to Homecoming, I have found myself doing this with more and more things. Let's call it the Household Goods Countdown. I think it started several weeks back when I bought some body wash. I thought to myself I wonder if this body will still be around when Spencer gets back? Then it just continued on with more and more things I observed. I didn't even have to necessarily buy it new. I'd look at my toothpaste dispenser and wonder if it'd last until the big day. I don't know why I found this so entertaining, but it was. Then I started turning to my food and expiration dates. The closer and closer those expiration dates got to the day, the more excited I would get. So now you see that him coming home has been the majority of my thoughts for the last several weeks. It has consumed my entire household. And I'm happy to say that I think everything in my house will still be in use when Spencer gets home. We are that close. Hallelujah.
